Yeah, if this is the scavenger hunt for the precursors…precursors are going to tank once it’s released. Unless there’s something extremely big missing, you can do those within a few hours or less (with mesmers it’d be incredibly fast). I’m going with future Living Story content instead.

Yeah, if this is the scavenger hunt for the precursors…precursors are going to tank once it’s released. Unless there’s something extremely big missing, you can do those within a few hours or less (with mesmers it’d be incredibly fast). I’m going with future Living Story content instead.

There all jumping puzzles, which already have acheavements, so i say this is the jumping puzzle part of the precursor hunt. To stop the market from crashing they are saying its not.

Even better, this is brilliant subtle marketing from anet. They seem to be doing alot of subtle stuff recently, the dev on TC – hints about cantha.
Now of course they will deny all this, just because of potential market crashes and the fact devs love keeping players in the dark to drum up hype.

Coz the one iv seen from reddit suggests something about pirates and aether-blades.

Now let me theorise something;

If they release a scav hunt, I really doubt they will include the precursors already obtainable. I would also doubt that they will craft the same set of legendaries.
Think about the market crashes if they released one. Think about the ability to have multiple sets of legendaries with slightly different status. I think that would be the best way to avoid people crying about their farm/money spent on these precursors, if a system which makes them obtainable without massive amounts of gold hoaring comes out. The guys with the ‘old’ legendaries will be able to pride themselves for that, where as the players who refuse to even work towards one because of the gold involved will love the fact they can now own a legendary – even (ok yes this is generalising) if they are not the same skins as the first generation.

I dunno, maybe i got abit too overexcited by this and have now transformed into mr optimistic again.

EDIT: Ok now with the stuff about the inquest airship and more stuff pointing to aetherblade pirates it seems like these will be tied to that. I eat my words. For now.
