Dead Servers
Welcome to the problem of guesting/trying to do world bosses after reset on some servers.
The problem is how they take their “data” for how they record activity. I mean last time I guested to Kaineng a year ago it was boomin and bumping and all I hear now is that tumbleweeds roll through every zone.
You could have tested the waters with 1 of the free to transfer servers but I think thats done with.
yeah same with my server GoM… use to be really alive now just dead everywhere, even the FGS trains are no more.
Guesting makes low populated servers seem even more dead than they actually are. Unfortunately, it’s necessary to guest if you want to complete meta events that require a lot of people.
ANet needs to make server population more transparent

If you guys want to do World Events, guest/transfer to Ehmry Bay. We run them every night. We are a pretty active PvE server but we got hit a bit population-wise when our WvW guilds left, so now we are mainly PvE ( for now… :P)
Also, if you need help knowing which World Event is up on what server:

Just change the server in the upper left corner
Can guest to any server you want, whenever you want.
Not really much of an issue here.
Server restrictions only apply to WvW.
Does your server have a website or a large, active guild with a website? “If you build it, they will come.” Just put the event up and I’m sure lots of folks will show. Most of them are off in some other part of the huge world doing whatever they’re doing with no clue that something interesting is happening that they could be a part of.
The only reason I knew TTS was doing Tequatl tonight was because someone in my guild gave us a heads up. I showed up, had a ton of fun, and got a bunch of achievements and loot. But if I didn’t know about it, I would have still been roaming around WvW or doing map completion!
Sorry, I had to, I just had to… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shs7VQhVvxA
