I’ve been wondering and trying to find for a while where to get hold of one T-shirts like the devs wore pre/during the launch of GW2.

The white T-shirt with the massive dragon styled 2 that wraps across the left shoulder.

These T-shirts look really good and I’d love to get my hands on one. I’d love to proudly advertise your game with one.

With limited exceptions having to do with direct giveaways face to face, those tshirts have always been specifically for ANet employees. I doubt they’ll make them generally available.

Something along the same lines in shades of grey and black was in a Facebook poll ANet did around launch time asking for people to vote on suggested tshirt designs, but nothing ever came of it. There are “please offer this merchandise” threads from time to time, one including Gaile’s interest and her saying she’d pass it on, but they have a lot of licensing and legal issues to consider.

Who knows? Now that they are self-publishing, maybe the merchandise floodgates can open!

That’s a shame but understandable. Wish you had a shop for this kind of merchandise though.

I take it that means there’s no chance of the shiny green Heart of Thorns t-shirts being sold either?

Seriously you guys should offer shirts. Like how Path of Exile did with one of their higher packages! I bought that just to sport the shirt cause I appreciate their hard work and like telling people about the unique shirts I wear if they ask. ( I have more than just PoE’s shirts.)

You could ask them for the design template used to produce those so you can make one at your own expense. It may be a long shot but worth asking.

They have said in the past the are cool with you making you own for your own personal use. But that was said a long long time ago. So there stance may have changed.

I actually have one of those… Sort of…

It has the GW2 dragon logo centered and no text. There’s an ANet/NCSoft logo on one sleeve and an NVIDIA logo on the other. The release date 8.28.12 is printed on the back.

It’s also a large, which is one size too big for me…

The devs visited several GameStops not long after release, there was one near me so I went.

Sorry, but those shirts were never offered to the public because they were meant for players to be able to easily identify our staff at trade shows, and since we’ve changed our show shirts for Heart of Thorns, it’s very unlikely that more will be printed.

Additionally, any of the shirts that did make their way to the public were mostly signed by our staff here and given to individuals from various giveaways. At this time, we don’t have plans to make more of these shirts/make them available to the public.

But I am assuming I am allowed to replicate that shirt on my own, and have it printed for myself, right?

You can do whatever you want as long as you don’t try to sell them, or promote something with them.
