Is there a way of disabling the chat in game, sick of people whining when you don’t follow what they say in PvP or just generally getting grief.

Yes, there is. Use the options at the top of the chat box. Untick any chat you do not wish to see.

agreed it works pretty good for the most part. and the other thing i do is keep my

online game status set to off. this way they can not whisper me at all too . and i can

get things done a whole lot more easy !!:)
