Leveling up is boring as hell in this game after level 40, so yes I’d do that.

It would bother me in the sense that there are going to be people that buy the game, see this item and think “omg skip leveling!?!?!?!1111 YAAAAAAAAS” then they find out that they don’t know how to play their class because they didn’t really get to experience it and those people are gonna complain about this on the forums.

On the other hand, this would be pretty nice for those people that have tons of alts, i personally know a person that has about 22 characters by now, of which 17 are 80 now so she knows her way around and doesn’t really need to experience regular pve leveling again.

I would probably buy a couple to get the last few proffessions to 80 and jump into WvW.

Honestly no…i wouldn’t. GW2 is hands down the easiest mmo to levelup in. U can do 1-80 playing casually doing map completition in 1 week. There are even better ways.

To tackle those that say “people will just buy level 80 and not learn their class”.. I hate to break it to you, but those people will never know their class anyway because they’re the ones who sit at the outskirts of every event and hit the ‘1’ button. People who want to PvP don’t need to get to 80. People who WvW will either learn the class or die constantly.

In the grand scheme, it simply doesn’t matter how one gets to 80.

Maybe give an option to go instantly to level 80 for those who have already “X” level 80s.

Personally I’d like it much more if they just lowered the level cap to 20 like in GW1 and assign all zones above 20 into levels 15 – 25 or maybe some hardcore 30.

Might make some zones more interesting to visit when you’re max level.
