Event Participation - Healing
So do some damage too.
I did damage, that’s why i got Bronze reward instead of nothing..
Since Anet has introduced support/healing specs into the game, they should at least get recognized for their support/healing effort too. It should not always be based on damage alone.
Participation seems to be more than being involved with any event, period. What I have found is that anyone in a support/healing role actually gets bronze almost all the time no matter if you started with the beginning of a group event or popped in somewhere in the middle.
THIS lack of support/healing metric for rewards is a problem and needs to be addressed. With the new healing specs coming into the game, Anet SHOULD HAVE looked at that metric and added it to the design for participation based rewards.
I think if you heal or boon someone and they kill something you should get credit for it too.

Just so long as it’s an active boon/heal.
So that a water elementalist can’t just AFK at the site of an event with soothing mist up and getting credit without even needing to look at what’s going on.
Heralds at least would need to reactivate facets if they die, but a water elementalist will immediately start getting credit when someone gets them up, meaning no input from the player.
