I have to agree that the scaling is way off. Speaking as a veteren player who has used, since the update, a completely new character, a character in a level appropriate area, and a character overpowered and scaled down to the area I was playing in, with ALL of those characters I’ve had significant trouble getting hits on mobs and being able to participate in any kind of meaningful way in even ordinary events, because everything dies way too fast. It’s bad enough that in places, I’ve had trouble just playing with my husband and guild mate because things are so easy to kill. I love the megaserver idea, but the scaling has got to be improved. It’s bad enough to make it not worth playing even in non-megaserver areas, because it takes so long to level or get a heart done when there are any other players around.

the last time they made a hard content the forums where full of whiners begging for nerfs and those events are done now by some specific guilds and servers.i find the most pve part so easy (sometimes i’m just sending my pet to fight while i’m making coffee for myself) but then again if you want something difficult just try to enter one of those guilds the encounters are good so i hope you will have fun there

Level scaling and numbers scaling for DEs have been broken for some time now. They should have fixed it a long time ago, but with megaservers they can’t put it off any longer.

Character strength doesn’t scale down far enough doing lower level content, ( which has also prevented them from scaling up rewards to the degree once promised), and mob numbers/strength clearly don’t scale up enough vs zergs.

I get the appeal of mega servers to disguise dwindling populations, but like much we have seen since launch, they didn’t really think things through. Scaling needed to be fixed first, or mega servers threaten to cost more players than they save.

Piken Square. I freelance work at home and can play at night. Soloed it each other night or so.

Mogrey: we have our small, cozy ~10ppl guild that pretty much exists since beta… So nah, won’t happen. Besides, atm larger guilds are also kittened by those megaserver changes, no way for them to play in one map.
