I’d like to talk about experience booster :

Am I the only one that tried to use this booster in pvp while thinking it will up my rank points gain?

The description says : +50% All experience gained in any game mode
It’d be difficult to add “only in mvm and pve”?

Well.. I’m maybe an idiot but that would ’ve been nice to tell exactly what it does at least in the update news….

Some consumables need to be activated outside of PvP, even though you can use the booster in PvP. Just a quirk of the game. Try activating it in PvE.

Well , the problem here is not how to activate it, I’ve activated it.

My problem is that I don’t receive any gain in rank points even if I though it was the “experience in pvp”.

And receive +50% exp in all mode should include this imo.

A new Experience Booster is now available that grants 50% additional experience from all sources and game types, including WvW and PvP reward tracks , and gives a killstreak bonus on enemy NPCs.

so it is not for rank but for faster progression in pvp reward track

No, it just states +50% PvP reward track gain. WvW is not mentioned and therefore shouldn’t be affected (If not bugged or missing in the description).

this is confusing.

what other reward tracks are there in WvW besides WvW Experience?

getting a boost to PvP reward tracks makes sense separate from individual rank exp, as those are separate systems. to my knowledge WvW always adds wvw exp and regular leveling up experience. which does it effect, and why make the distinction if it doesn’t effect wvw exp?

Ok, so the 50% exp mean the regular character exp.

Well you can no longer buy wvw boosters in the gem store. So its a safe bet the new experience boosters apply to that as well.

Haven’t actually tried it though so cant confirm.

The booster works on wxp yes, you rank up on your wvw-rank faster…

And as said earlier it doesn’t work on pvp rank-Points, only the reward-track.
