There is absolutely no way for a f2p player to send gold to another player?
I’m on a small guild with mostly f2p players and we want to know if there is a way for them to send gold to the leader to help pay the Guild Hall.

No, F2P players cannot send gold or other items to other people. They can receive gold/items in the mail, though.

Sadly, it’s the only way that makes sense from a “stop the bots” viewpoint.
Evil gold sellers would create a zillion free accounts, bot a bit of gold/loot on each then transfer it to their main gold selling account(s) to sell on.

If you need to see this first hand I can point you to the f2p game I played until recently. Sometimes it seemed that the gold sellers outnumbered the players…

f2p players can’t even access most of the guild hall features, so asking money from them would be extortion in the first place, lol.

Yeah, the f2p players won’t even be able to go into the actual guild hall . . .

Actually, they can go in from the guild panel. They just can’t really use anything in there, according to what we have been told.

Play4Free players can access the Guild Hall; they are just restricted on the amount of services they can interact with, as are core Tyria-only players.

But, no, Play4Free players can not send Gold or interact with the Guild Vaults.
