This one made me angry.

Yeah, sure ‘last logged in’ will be good, would be even better with ‘last represented’.
But if we are talking about ‘social play improvements’ I just have two questions:

WHERE ARE GUILD ALLIANCES ?

WHERE IS ALLIANCE CHAT ?

GW2 not only support zerg playing but also forces ppl to play in zerg guilds for some coordination. Its so stupid to msg dozens of ppl to make some organized play (guild missions, WvW) so ppl are leaving their guilds and friends to sit in biggest PvE/WvW guild that is possible -.-

Finally, we’ve improved the support for guild members in the system and made some improvements on the back end to reduce opportunities for griefing.

I can only speculate: guild mission control and who can take credit for missions. In my experience that is one of the greatest ways to grief a guild so far.

a) Guild mission control: As it stands now, after a particular mission has been activated in guild panel, anyone in the guild can trigger a mission objective on the map to start it (bounty, rush, puzzle, etc). It’s not exclusive to officers and that leaves room for trouble. A troll can start the target/mission before the guild is ready/rallied. There is no way to know who started the event on map, either. Very troublesome for larger guilds in particular.

b) Awarded credit: There are some notorious guild missions that have had not awarded credit (looking at you, Blightwater Shatterstrike!). Based on experience, this happens either by some sort of glitch or in the case of puzzle missions, another guild rushing into a puzzle that’s being run by a guild already. In the latter, the initial guild has done all the work to not be awarded credit. This really hurts smaller guilds who have to put in that much more effort into completing challenges and puzzles only for it not to work.

Sidenote: Logins! Yes, thank you, this was much needed. It helps to keep the guild roster tidy.

Hmm, what else…
Guild Calendar? Guild emails? Better vault permissions?

guild halls?

Come on, Anet. ;D Some teasing is nice, but that statement was a bit too vague.

As mentioned, the LFG tool needs to become more prominent in the UI. It should not be hidden away in a window of a window. To my knowledge, there is still no hotkey available for opening LFG (please inform me if I’m wrong). Players need to open Contact list, and then click and click another 1-20 times to see all the group listings. This is simply more of an annoyance than it should be.

What I am asking for is a hotkey to LFG (and add LFG to the icons in the top left of the screen—separate from Contacts). And allow players to view all of the LFG listings without needing to click every subcategory over and over again.

I still think the question about whether the last login time is only viewable by the guild leader or by the entire guild still needs to be answered. The wording in the blog post is confusing and doesn’t really definitively say. It alludes that this is something guild leaders should be happy about but it doesn’t explicitly state it is leaders only.

Q: Last login for guilds… does that mean last represented login?

You could have an active multi-guild member that has not represented your guild in 6 months. Guild leaders want to know when a player last represented their guild and if they are an active part of your guild…. not the last time they logged in to another guild.

I hope that’s the change…. it wasn’t very clear on the blog.

Oh for the love of God… YES! We need to know when the last time a member represented us. Right now we have to manage a 500+ Google Docs Spreadsheet to know when a person joined and how many times the rep us during their initiation period of two weeks. Then we have to purge all the people that haven’t logged in or repped us in months.
We have enough to do as guild leaders & officers, please help us make this not so much of a unpaid JOB.

Simple Suggestion for improving Guild’s Permissions.
We want to
Guild Stash: Be able to set Sr. Members and above to withdraw
Treasure Trove: Be able to set Veterans and above to withdraw
Deep Cave: NEEDS the option be able to set Officers and above to withdraw

We have to pay for the Deep Cave separately and at a high price, why can’t we control it separately???

Oh a couple more things:
Please add a confirmation window like this: Do you really want to kick <<Playername>> from your guild? (Yes/No)

It causes so much drama when accidental kicks happen when someone is trying to kick someone from party. (Why is it even and option there, this should be done from the roster.)

Fix the guild bank; double click to add/remove items; allow drag n drop stacking upon deposit.

Have a Rename Guild Contract that costs Influence.
