So I have a small suggestion to in-game purchases.

Suggestion:
Make it possible to buy a free amount of gems, with your Paypal, Paysafe or Credit card.

Why:
Because, if you have less than 10 EUR on your Paysafecard, or you want to pay a big amount of gems. It will be much more easier, to just write the amount you want to pay, and then receive gems for that specific amount. Also because of the different currencies for example: I have buyed a 100 NOK paysafecard, (12 EUR) but the closest limit is 10 EUR. (90 NOK) That means that I have 10 NOK left, that I can not use on anything. So it would have been better to just write in your free amount. And ArenaNet does not loose money on it!

The only negative point I see here, is that it might be a technical question.

I have doubts that they’d do this. I would imagine that the purchasable amounts are calculated to persuade players to buy more gems than they actually need, so that they are left with a residual amount that entices further purchases.

I think that your suggestion would be a great QoL upgrade for the community, no arguing with that. However, I think that if they had predicted that this would improve gem sales, they would’ve done it already- they already did something similar with the gold to gem exchange. In other words, the fact that a change like this hasn’t been made suggests it would be a bad business move for A-net, or that they have restrictions when it comes to transactions of variable amounts.
