Ectos are worth a ton more in GW1 than they are in GW2.
They are pretty much like GW2’s destroyer lodestones.

also because where as YOU have to hold up your end of the bargain THEY dont its just a mater of trust they will send you their ectos .

gw1 ecto costs 10 platinum (tier 2 advanced currency)
1 platinum = 1000 gold (tier 1 basic currency)
so gw1 ectos costs 10,000 units

gw2 ecto costs 30 silvers (tier 2 intermediate currency)
1 silver = 100 coppers (tier 1 basic currency)
so gw2 ectos costs 3,000 units

hmmm yeah gw1 ectos does cost a lot more haha. 3 times more than gw2 ectos.

Heck I’ll do that are you doing 1:1? I have 3 stacks of GW1 ecto so let me know where and how you want to do this.

I’m pretty sure I have a stack or so of ecto from farming halloween events in GW1.

not a 1:1 Deal. Farming Ecto’s on GW1 is way faster and twice as easy as GW2. i need alot of GW1 Ecto for Gw2 Ecto’s just cause the fact no one really plays GW1 anymore and GW2 is really costly combated to GW1.

I have 80 GW1 ectos, I trade in 5 GW2 ecto vs 1 GW1 ecto.

It’s not 1:1 no, but it’s the other way around. You need to give a lot more gw2 ecto for 1 gw1 ecto. I’d say minimum 10 gw2 : 1 gw1.
