Guild Wars 2

I am really excited that they brought back putting the guild message of the day in player’s chat boxes. I think that it’s a great way to make sure players see the information that leaders are trying to share.

My idea is to have two guild messages: one on the guild menu, and one that gets sent out as a “message of the day.” My reasoning is that our guild has weekly events, which I leave in the guild message. So when the message gets sent to players’ chat boxes, they have to scroll to see everything, and it can lead to them not reading it at all in a few weeks (I’ll admit, I won’t read one of my guild’s messages already because there is so much information being spammed to my chat box). I still want to give players information regarding our upcoming events while only sending to their chat the information that is important/relevant to that particular day.

TLDR; Have a “Guild Information” section in the guild menu, for all the information. Have a “guild message of the day” section where I can put a smaller amount of information relevant to the day to be sent to players’ chat boxes.

Would be a nice idea. Or maybe something like a bulletin board, which could be put into the guild hall?

On another note, does anybody know how to delete the guild message completely? I can’t get rid of it, when I edit and delete the text, so that there’s nothing in there it won’t let me save.

A bulletin board in the hall would be cool! I don’t think that I would want it as the only method of communication though as I don’t picture every member going to the hall and looking. However, it would be a fun feature that would add to the hall.
