Getting tax refund means you’ve been paying too much tax, i.e. giving a free loan to the government.

That said, it still feels better getting a refund than additional tax payment at the end of year.

I’m curious of how many of you people actually talk with your leaders. It seems a lot of people here have a very hard and vertical relationship with their guilds, where they feel forced to do things instead of an active and empowered part of the group.

I could buy every legendary in the game with the taxes i pay to Black Lion Trading.

Got a better idea. If your guild requires you to pay money to be in it just quit and join one that doesn’t. If those type of guilds stop existing from lack of members there will be no need for the feature OP is asking for.

Have to admit that the guild that I’m in does have a “tax”, but members have the option to donate mats or money (or both if they please).
We keep track of who donates what, which adds a lot of extra work.. An automatic tax would remove the fact that only a certain amount of guildies give up a lot of resources while others “leech” of the stuff that gets added in the guild hall.

Part of me says yes this is a good idea, because fair sharing. Other part feels it would be too much work (for Anet to implement).. because people can just put all their money in personal guild bank, or the system should keep track of how much money/mats you earn in a certain time (can’t donate 5g if you don’t have 5g). Just so many factors that can influence it.
