Could it ever have occurred to you that maybe, just MAYBE, that it is story related – Heart of THORNS —- Mad King THORN – and maybe, just MAYBE, it ruin the surprise if they let the cat out of the bag too soon about it?
And see here is the problem with moving my thread to this irrelevant one. You don’t have context… I politely asked with respect and was very very soft spoken with it. I said please multiple times. I thanked them for all their hard work. I explained the reasoning why me and many others wanted to know… at NO POINT was I rude or demanding.
Here is your original post, in which you said please not once and in which you only stated a general thanks, you never mentioned their hard work. Your demand was formulated in the topic title, as you demanded a dev answer.
And who elected you for spokesperson for the many other players in the first place?
I have just one question I think is weighing on the minds of many of my fellow GW2 players…
Why was the decision made to launch the Halloween event on the same day as HoT… especially given GW1 Halloween is launching on the 18th…

and seriously Wanze what is your issue? I get it… it’s not a concern for you… great! It is for alot of others. Why not just say you aren’t concerned with it and walk away? Who nominated you to be forum sheriff and beat down and harass people for trying to ask a LEGITIMATE question?
I have an issue with you claiming stuff that isnt true, is all. If you have the feeling that i beat down on you or harass you, please report me.
So rather than saying hey it’s not a concern for you and walk away, you’d rather be a forum troll and debate semantics of how the question was asked as to divert attention away from what is the REAL topic in the first place, the question itself… Your specific intent to appears solely to derail the thread. To me that’s “trolling” and “harassment”…

I am just concerned that you think its legitimate to open new threads on an already existing topic just because your question hasnt been answered by a dev in the other thread. The forum rules are clear on that, i think.
And I think you were the one going off topic first, complaining that the threads got merged and making false claims on how you conducted yourself.
And if you would have checked carefully, you would have seen that my first post was spot on topic, so claiming that i contributed nothing constructive is false and rude:
Maybe they added new materials to the loot tables for t&t bags or the other halloween reward structures and they didnt want those to be obtainable before HoT launches.

Nooooo you are wrong… the rule states you are not allowed to call out anyone specifically… I asked a GENERAL question and directed it the development team as a whole… it wasn’t derrogatory, inflammatory, or anything like that. It was a legitimate question expressing a legitimate concern that other than being on the general topic of Halloween had absolutely ZERO to do with the thread it was moved into.
