I can’t seem to get a decent amount of loot. Most of the time its a thropy worth 6 copper.. 6 copper?! In a lvl 80 zone?! thats like…. only 3 times more than thropys in the lvl 5 zone… I don’t really feel my income coming from my throphies, actually i don’t really feel any income at all.. Oh and when i use magic find gear and non magic find gear i don’t feel any or significant difference, is it just me or is there something wrong, should 100% more magic find mean you find blues and greens 2 times more? someone pls explain to me whats going on.. Soon ill be selling my armour just to repair it..

All you have to do is change zones for about an hour if you hit DR.

Keep one thing in mind, and for this example Im going to make
a number up. Lets say the chance of getting a exotic drop is even
1%. I say this for example, because I think its much lower.

Now lets say you have 100% magic find gear. That increases the chances
to 2%. So you get an extra 1% chance under this scenario. If the drop rate
is actually HALF of a percent, you are gaining half of a percent.

Just wanted to clarify, because MF looks allot better on paper than what
it actually gives.

Everytime I visit Cursed Shore porous bones start dropping immediately. Guess I’m on the perm DR list.

More RNG than DR. DR means you can’t farm one area for a long period of time. RNG means you can get unlucky.

Also did anyone else click this in hopes of the post being entirely devoid of spaces like the title?

Actually this isn;t right, DR (if activated on your account) it has 1 reset time per 24 hours.

yes, so.. i have to wait 24 hours..:( and all i want is blue gold worth half a silver to sell, not even asking for rare or exotic..

and yes i get alot of porous bones! i don’t need porous bones worth 6 copper in a lvl 80 area! i want some substantial selling items..

1.) Deal with it, it’s been happening with November and other people are finding other ways to make money.

2.) You don’t make most of your money off rares. You get a lot from moldy bags.

With my level 80 guardian I have never got a exotic drop even with a full rare MF set. With my level 65 ranger with no magic find I have got one exotic and multiple rares. In fact my ranger consistently gets blues and greens and hardly does she ever get a grey or white item. She gets better drops than any of my other toons.
I probably shouldn’t have posted this….nerf to my rangers drop rate coming.

haha i would get my gold from moldy bags but moldy bags only sell for a few silver, even if i get lucky opening them i get a few extra silver and 1g is 100 silver so if i want 1g i would have to have 50 to 100 moldy bags.. And the problem yet again is that moldy bags don’t come easily to me… why moldy bags why?!

DR is affecting many people. It’s been going on now for far too long. They can tell us they are investigating all they want but history shows us that DR always causes players to leave the titles no matter how many re-assurances we’re given. The problem is partially their bug squashing methods. This game has gained 2 bugs per month on the engineers side of things and 3 bugs a month on the game and the bugs generally last about 3 weeks before anything’s done about them however, DR is another case entirely. We’re told repeatedly that their software isn’t showing them there’s a problem, well apparently there is a problem with that software because the reality is quite different then what they are telling us and despite insulting posts from the few responses we’re given, we all know that this isn’t our imagination.

They’ve done a few things to lay the foundations to help with the gathering of T6 materials but there’s quite a few things they haven’t done to take care of DR.

I’ve seen it so many times on other forums, people have been saying the same thing, that post Nov 15th that this game became something other then GW2 and I would have to agree. On the PVE side this game was perfect the first month even with all of it’s bugs the functionality the diversity of the builds the loot balance all were perfectly fine, why they felt the need to change those things is something many of us will never understand.
