I have a dream...
Well, an expansion takes time to make. It must have some relation with the lore, new areas (big ones, and those are pretty hard to make, lots of details), new enemies and maybe new mechanics, new classes/races maybe (also have to think about a nice kit of skills for weapons and utilities and balance traits)
If we already have problems with the game, why spend time creating new stuff instead of working on stuff that will make future plans easier?
Stop asking for a expansion, there’s the gems store to spend your money already.
Dreams are for free.
I stopped reading after i read expansion.
Bloin – Running around, tagging Keeps, getting whack on Scoobie Snacks.
I have a dream, a dream in which Draconic Legs get nerfed.
I had a dream when I was young
A dream of sweet illusion
A glimpse of hope and unity
And visions of one sweet union
But a cold wind blows and a dark rain falls
And in my heart it shows
Look what they’ve done to my dream!!!
(I love Queen)
BTW, those things you dream, or maybe something similar to it, or something completely different, might be in the works…. when it’ll be done, or whether it’ll be done at all, is anyone’s guess, though:
“Actually, it sounds like there is an expansion planned. “We have a couple of really big Guild Wars projects cooking in the background,” Johanson told me.
Later, he added: "Some of our players believe that because we are doing this Living World seasons, and these features or these big feature-builds, that it means that the features you would traditionally get in an expansion, or the content you would traditionally get in an expansion, is not something that will get added to Guild Wars 2. And that is not true at all.
“Not only are we doing those things, new features and content you would traditionally get from a boxed expansion are also things that will be added to Guild Wars 2.
“The thing that we haven’t decided yet,” he went on, "is what form that type of content will take. Is it right for Guild Wars 2 for that kind of boxed expansion? Is it right for that to be something we add, live, through storylines in the game? Is that something we want to sell through our in-game store? There are a lot of different options available to us.
“… but we absolutely are going to do sweeping new features that you would traditionally only get in expansions – large regions, content and progression additions to your characters in the form of growth and professions and races. Those are all things that you will see in the lifespan of Guild Wars 2.”"

wrapped up in some crazy ritualist hoo-ha from Cantha.
A real grab bag of ‘you can’t hurt me. They’re called Guardians.
The idea of kittening this game up with mounts and open pvp made me throw up a little bit in my mouth.

“Keep the present game exactly as it is…”
You don’t need to buy the expansion : )

All gw2 has going for it is spiffy graphics and the most innovative combat system that’s ever been implemented in an mmo. It’s just too bad i can’t use that combat system to down an actual challenging boss for loot that’s worth a kitten … or kill some friends I know in duels.

If it includes stupid stuff like that, my vote is nobody gets to buy it.

All they do as “new” is “balancing” there , then “balancing” again there, and again, until all that left is nothing new, they are just running around messing up all the time and money spent for gears.
