I agree. Halloween was a let down this year, but I’m keeping high hopes for Wintersday! I did love last years Wintersday, and imo it shouldn’t change THAT much like halloween did..

But just incase, I’m ready for the let down.. which is sad..

I agree, there was too much collecting and the loot from the toyshop, or whatever you want to call it, was typically garbage although the 15 slot gift boxes were nice it would have been nicer if they were 20. This year I expect more of the same, except the “garbage” will come in a little box this time, with a bit of bloodstone dust and an unidentifiable object. ;-)

I wonder if they’re going to remove the group “dungeon” with this Wintersday like they did this Halloween. I did like the new content with the Bloody Prince, but still missed the dungeon. Only got to do it once last year and the chest bugged out on me, was looking forward to it this year.

Really wintersday 012 was the best patch ive ever experinced in any game :P It competly turned my whole twelve hours a day with guildwars to twelve hours a day with wintersday. Was hugeenormus entertaining content and ok rewards but it was so fun. and worth playing as enjoyment is also a good reward.

halloween last year was good last years yule event was lame and casual orientated… this year from the vid looks like its gonna be another rehash with less content …

Was hugeenormus entertaining content and ok rewards but it was so fun. and worth playing as enjoyment is also a good reward.

Wintersday last year was fun as well, but yeah, everyone after 2012, has gone downhill. This years will probably be no exception. I hope I’m wrong and its even better than last years (ie. no removing content, just adding new stuff).

Hope we get some new gem-purchasable items, including other cultural sets, possibly legendaries/precursors and so on.

or to take one of your ideas and tweak it: Ugly Wool Wardrobe? could use all three parts(sweater, socks and I think the third was pants?), plus maybe a crude salvage kit or something, throw it all in the Mystic Toilet and BAM! Ugly Wool Wardrobe.

obviously you would need 250 of each item, and to get w.e their selling you would need 20 wardrobes..

The overall event last year was decent enough. I think the only part I have really liked in any of the winterdays events have been the snowball fight, in both games. Endless fun for me.
