I like this month’s achievements. I like that they are changing them up. It would be nice to have more of a choice like we get with the dailies now but even if they do that people will still complain about something. I think the monthlies should be work. I certainly had to force myself to do the 5 dungeons last month because I really wanted those laurels. That was my first time doing dungeons and turns out they were not as bad as I feared.

3) I only WvW, monthly/daily are supposed to be able to be done while I play, this cannot be

For those that love to craft good for you. For those that do it because you don’t care, great you get your credit. But there is a very large PvP (sPvP and WvW) player base that has not lvled crafting at all nor do we want to. That isn’t why we play and we should not be forced to do something we get no enjoyment out of.

I agree with this sentiment wholeheartedly. Except that I DO craft, all the time, but never set foot in PvP. All PvP rewards should be dropped from Monthly and Daily lists and never return. Because I personally choose not to participate in that segment of content, no one should ever be rewarded for it ever again.

How high do tiers go? Is it 100 dynamic events?

100 events, 100 veterans, craft 40 masterwork (green) or higher items, 5 dailies.

Once you’ve finished your daily and can see the Monthly list in the UI, you can mouse-over each element there to see the real totals, without anything hidden by the whole tiers thing.

For me, i think the hardest to achieve is 100 vets… Playing causally will probably take me about 20 days.

As i said, i will only take me about 20 days out of 30. I’m not in a hurry, I only brought it up because based on how i play, that’s going to be the last thing i complete from the list.

To contribute to the topic, i cant WvWvW due to my “meh” connection and won’t fractal so… no problems with this monthly. I have skipped most monthlies in the past without posting on the forums because i can understand that its my choice and i stand by it, and dont care much about ascended gear.

People seem to complain about stuff they don’t know how to tackle…which results in them feeling CBF.

I looked into the monthly crafter and initially though it had to be tier 5 and 6 items but then tried to do tier 1 masterwork and it worked. I though, hey this is nice. 40 masterworks of any tier sounds decent.
