Global Agenda’s autogroup thing. You just queue for the type of game you want to play and it picks like minded people and tosses you together.

So if I wanted to run a dungeon I could just queue for which path I wanted and I would be thrown into the dungeon with others that queued the same path. No more needing to go to a fan-based website to find a group just to be turned down because they only accept warriors and guardians.

I also like that the Engineer in Global Agenda had worthy turrets and even killer drones. Its a shame sci-fi mmos have such a hard time staying alive.

Darkness Falls from DAoC

My choices are tied in a three way knot, I want housing but I also want better game-play. However I also want a looking for group system IN the game. Going to a third party website to look for a group is BAD design.

The Trinity. I’ve given it a year of DPS only, and found it to be more boring and homogenized than the traditional system, and even more so systems that hybridize roles, like City of Heroes and Dark Age of Camelon.

Mounts/vehicles/contraptions

I want an Asuran Hoverboard like nobody’s business. With tricks and everything.

Ok, I know you said one thing but I have two things bugging me at the moment…

More control over the UI. Things are placed on the screen where ANet devs want them, that’s rarely where I am used to having them and there’s no way to move them around, unlike virtually every other current MMO.

Players should have some resistance or even immunity to crowd control for a while after being affected by such skills. Chain stuns/knockbacks/knockups/knockdowns/etc. are NOT fun by any stretch of the imagination and there’s a reason no other MMO I have ever played allows this to happen.

I miss healing, id love a full healer/support character

I would say Darkness Falls from DAoC, except it was done so well there, I would hate to see a lesser copy executed in a way that might diminish all it was. It is the one standout I point to as “the” best thing ever done in an MMO after a dozen years and 8 games.

I see some good suggestions here including RIFTS’s wardrobe function. I could also see LotRO’s armor overlay as well.

Only other thing I can think of is a heavy-armor wearing casting class. Necrotic style. I hate to admit it, but I miss my gnome Death Knight.
