I might be wrong but i have hard time to believe those QQ that they have putted 2000 exo daggers in MF you could buy 3-4 sparks for that amount of money. I mean seriously after first 500 daggers why not just save the money?
I think they just wants to cry out easier way to get precusors…

Probably.

Personally, I just want a finite deterministic method to obtain a precursor, no matter the difficulty.

I’ve had my Sunrise for roughly a month now.

It’s called a Toilet for a reason. Don’t contribute tot he madness! If people stop flushing their gold, ANet will be forced to do something about it eventually. Whatever they do can’t be any worse than what they have already done.

If you sold all those daggers you could have bought the item straight with gold, you wouldn’t be complaining if you got spark.

I’m assuming he just crafted aload of the same daggers meaning it could take forever to sell them…….
But yeah, salvaging them for ectos would have probably made you enough,or at least make your money back.

Yes i want because the current system sucks moa balls. well, I dont mean to get an easier way, just a sure way to get the precursor. It can be long and hard but at the end i want my guaranteed precursor. and please dont come up with the tp. i dont want to earn my precursor with stupid trading and such. that means nothing to me. 600 or more gold for the staff is ridiculous. after spending so much money on the three gifts me and a lot of other people thought that we might get lucky with the mystic toilet. and no, some of them, including me, we’rent lucky. we trashed so much money and weapons and i think it doesnt make sense now to start with collecting money to buy it from the tp – eventually at some point a precursor has to come out of the mf. it sucks when you see all your guild mates get their precursors after some tries and you got nothing and nothing and nothing.

i began to hate this overall rng system. running fotm with reward lvl 40+ sucks when every kittening time some people with 15 or more levels lower than you get so much more rares than you. either i’m very unlucky or this system is just broken. i think i got better loot running lvl 1 – 10 than i get now.

so no more mystic kittenhole untill anet comes up with a better way to obtain the precursor.

Its a lottery, its how it is supposed to be. Having a fixed result after a certain amount of attempts is asinine. I like it the way it is.

The current system for getting a precursor is broken, and ArenaNet knows it – thus the “scavenger hunt” that they’re currently designing.

I don’t believe the Mystic Forge was ever intended to be used in this fashion – it can be, but it sure appears that the intent was “hmm, I have four things I don’t need, and I don’t need the cash I’d get from selling them, maybe I’ll get something better from the forge?”

The whole “toss thousands of things in the forge in the hope that I’ll get X” is a symptom of the broken precursor system, not the means ArenaNet intended for people to acquire one with.

This begs the question, of course, as to how they did expect them to be acquired. They put the icon for getting one front-and-center on the login screen, so they must have known and intended for many people to pursue them, and they knew the drop rates.

As it sits, I don’t expect to ever get a Legendary, which seems a bit of a shame but I’m not going to let the pursuit of the nigh-unobtainable distort my gameplay to the point I’m not having fun anymore.
