Yup, got tired of not being a d \\ bag because I’m tired of the bads ruining the game by convincing Anet to nerf things they can’t do, like play zerk builds.

There’s so much wrong with your post and your attitude I don’t know where to begin.

So, we’ll go with this: Your understanding of game development is only matched by your ability to effectively present your position.

Drain it dry because I don’t care if you don’t like my attitude or post. Fact is fact that bads have been screaming for nerfs for a long time because they can’t play them. That was painfully evident on the forum right before the ferocity change hit.

RNG is a bell curve. Better hope you’re on the right side.

Ah, so I was correct in my labeling. My assumptions were also correct. Some of us enjoy getting things done quickly. Others, like yourself, don’t get enjoyment from doing thing efficiently. I don’t get any enjoyment from PVP, others do. The difference is I don’t scream at the top of my lungs on the forum for Anet to nerf classes in PVP because they are OP in PVE… If you see doing things efficiently as a job, that is your problem, not mine.

It’s not the one instance of using the five extra minutes, it is the cumulative effective of those five extra minutes of every run. They add up. I know you were looking at the short time but I was looking long term effect. Not only that, more DPS nerfs will come in the future. That has been the trend for the 2 years I’ve been playing.

You can still get things done “quickly” without being absolutely 100% optimized too. Oh yes, sure you get it done a tad bit faster if you are absolutely maxed, but generally speaking the difference is actually quite minimal in the broader scope. Keep assuming though.

Yes, the additional time will add up, but that can be said for anything really. Its highly unlikely it will be that much of a difference per run. However, until they actually implement it and people do it, you can’t really know. You can assume the worst of course; which what people like you are doing.

Obviously the devs felt that might needed an adjustment in both modes, so they changed it. We’ll see how it works out.

As for the trend of nerfs…. get used to it. This has been a trend since GW1. You can either role with it, or you can get kitteny about it and act like the devs are intentionally trying to ruin “your” game play (which they aren’t, they could probably care less about you or me in particular).

Don’t look at me like that. Whatever you’ve heard, it’s probably not true.

Only really noticeable if you’re doing run after run after run. In which case, you clearly don’t have other responsibilities in life, so what does it even matter?

So, is this their solution to the berserker meta? I guess all those other suggestions to fix it were worthless.

Might consists of a greater relative proportion of damage to low-power high-crit than to high-power high-crit builds. Rather than solving the berserker meta this enforces it by making other build types relatively less viable.

Since you must know of my personal life I’ll indulge you: I only work six months out of the year… and I don’t have kids… But when I’m on my time off of work (because I travel, i.e. I’m away from my wife and home, the other six months of year) I value my time when I am home much more than the normal 8-5’er that does get to sleep in their bed every night. That being said it is my prerogative to choose what I want to do with my time. Like yesterday, I spent the vast majority of my day building a stone fire pit in my backyard

No, it’s not their solution to the berzerker meta, it’s them mitigating the massive power of might stacking.

Reducing might by a small amount per stack doesn’t do anything to the ‘zerk’ discussion, it’s a different issue.

Or maybe they do have other responsibilities, but have an hour or two to play, and can do several runs in that time?

That’s one of the guys I run dungeons with. He has a very limited 1-2 hr window in the evening hours during the week he can play so he wants to get as many completed as fast as possible.
