It is always best to check items out in the Wiki, or other informational sources, before purchase, so there are no unwanted surprises. Most tonics (other than Town Clothes) are either 5 of 15 minutes, and very few allow you to use them in combat. Sorry you found your purchase less than fulfilling.

Yep, it’s worthless and the restrictions on it are are so harsh as to make it pointless. I have no idea what was going through their mind when they designed it.

I was so excited to get mine as a reward for a Living Story and so disappointed after I got it. There was no wiki information to research beforehand. Mine is sitting in a mule’s inventory, quietly rotting and being worthless, pointless and disappointing.

Still, when there is a choice, it might behoove one to investigate as much as possible before making one’s choice. When we assume…well, we all know the rest of that adage. Lol.
