That boss update gave him WAY to much health where you literally just sit there and AA for 5mins until he finally dies. The damage he puts out is negligible, so with a guardian, you kind of have to just AA and alt-tab and do something else for 5mins.

He didn’t need that much health, I get some people wanted a health buff so they can make it back in time from portals, maybe enough health to last 1-2mins but 5min was just a huge over-shoot.

Wow you guys are fast. Sometime it takes the serve I’m on up to 8 minutes…At least I can chain meta events without worrying whether or not I’ll make it in time >.>
I’d say that SB needs a health boost, like at least 3-4 portal phases, but Anet might make that fight last 10 minutes.

Depends how many players show up. I’ve been in maw fights with few players that came very close to the end of the 15 minute timer. Other times we can take him out in 5-6 minutes but in those cases there are a lot of us and the overlap of all the boons and the time dilatations from mesmers help exponentially while his HPs scale linearly.

If I don’t dodge his circles, or physical attacks in phase 2, my character will get downed.

Just did it with 8 players and won with 9 minutes left. I’ve never seen it go below 9 min left on the timer since the update on Maguuma.
