Was taking part in an organised tequatl, full map, no message asking us to move, and in the last dps phase the shard was closed due to the map lacking players.

I must stress the map was full, completely full, hard capped and it was cleared by the new system without a single warning given to us about closure.

I didn’t want to post this in the bug forums as the feature is most likely working as intended, we must have got moved into the shard by someone who didn’t tell us the map was closing, however I can see this as a potential problem if guilds want to organise things as the message just never popped up for us in the 45 minutes we were present on the shard.

What I wanted to ask is why is there absolutely no system in place where if a map fills up again due to taxis it can prevent the closure?

Was also present. Gunnar’s Hold regular community run, we spawn Teq manually, and run into map-closing issues nearly every week - though this is the first time it’s kicked off the entire map before we’ve managed to kill the boss.

When we have numbers enough to chain together burn phases, there is no way the map can be considered ’empty’.
