Its a cold night in Kryta.
5 Kids are waiting for Santanet under the Content Tree , only thinking about the presents they will get from him.

The names of the 5 Kids are Pvp Timmy , Pve Bob , Fractal Mike ,WvW Steven and Raid Marco.
They waited for so long , but finaly Santanet is here!

The first Gift goes to PvE Bob.
A Lego Set.
PvE Bob is very happy and starts playing.
But 3 Hours later , like it often happens with children , the toy lies in a corner.
PvE Bob is bored again.

Pvp Timmy gets the second gift.
He opens it to find no new Toy , but lots and lots of candy.

Pvp Timmy sits on a Chair , munching slowly his candy , while he plays the same game he always does.

Fractal Mike opens the third Gift.

Oil? He looks confused at Santanet.
For your Bike you like so much. So it can be used “easier”.

Fractal Mike shrugs and starts oiling his Bike.

WvW Steven opens his Gift.

“Socks? Again? "

With a somewhat depressive look on his face , he walk over to the Sock Mountain.

“Maybe next year” he says.

The last Kid , Raid Marco opend his gift.

A new Nintendo 3Ds with both Pokemon Sun and Moon!
He jumps happy left to right and immediately start playing.

Bored PvE Marco looks at his new Toy and then at Raid Marcos.
Jealous about Raid Marcos gift he screems:

“HIS TOY IS SOOOOO MUCH BETTER THEN MINE! I WANT THAT TOO!”

Only to get a “Gid Gut” form Raid Marco who starts to enjoy the awesome new Story the Pokemon games got.

Fraktal Mike drives his bike around the house.

“I cant believe how easy it is now! Look how fast i go! WOOH!!”

PvP Timmy is still eating slowly his big pile of candy.

WvW Steven starts to fight a door out of frustration.

Tldr:
The last Patch in a Nutshell.
Pve got 3-4 hours of Content (Story and all new Archivments)
Fractals got easier.
Pvp got hundreds of Ap for free.
WvW got well… lets say “something”
Raids got a high quality new Raidwing with an important Story , awesome boss design ,
amasing map design and so much ohter cool stuff in it.

“If all the other things Anet produces would be on the same Quality Level as the raids , much less people would complain.”

Except that all the 5 kids are actually one kid with a multiple personality disorder.

Everyone has the same game on their drives, everyone got the same patch.
If anyone is not playing some part of the game content they only got themselves to blame, not Anet.

Better yet…
On your analogy, all kids got the same pack of gifts, with oil, socks, nintendo ds, candy and lego… but they are all spoiled little pricks and keep complaining that they don’t like any of it and they wanted a barbie doll.

Maybe people shouldn’t play only a small part of a game and expect it to be the whole game.

So what you are saying is : You are a WvW Player and dont get the love from arenanet you want? You dont get good stuff like other parts of the game?

Just play the other parts!

And clearly the general PvE player is the same as a Raid player.

If what you say would be true.
Why are there then Teams for each Gamemode?
Why does the Raid Team kittens out gold , while the other teams are bigger and have the same time , but all they bring to the table is much less.

Maybe im bias for being a WvW Player.
I mean i personaly dont care about the stuff the Raiders got , but man Pvp just got lots and lots of free ap.

True. The Gamesmodes overlap with each other , but this doesnt mean that they are not distinct enough for it to matter.
