Aren’t they (especialy the boy with “yelp-get away”) actualy humiliating LGBT community? Since I sense OP has similar sense for logic, it might as well fit.

I have really no idea, how could one come with such conclusion. Kids are playing and as someone already said, they would be doing the same with two men/or woman+man. I’ve laughed when I heard it for the first time, because this “RP-children-game” was so authentic. I was a bit surprised after I had seen the scene at near end of LS1, but then again, if it was typical “hetero”-couple, people would complain it’s a story-cliché. One can never satisfy everyone, however I absolutely don’t agree with statement it’s about “politics in the game”.
Anyway, awareness is a good thing. Nobody claims that homosexuality > heterosexuality and that homosexuality is better and should be fully supported in society over anything. Awareness just guarantees homosexualy-oriented people will not get jailed and won’t be harshly judged for no reason as in the past. However, that’s another topic and two (NPC)-children playing in LA have nothing to do with it.

I always thought it was interesting that someone decided that those two kids had to be placed near the bank. Why weren’t they placed near the Trading Post, or the crafting stations, or the portals to other locations? LA is huge, but they got placed near the bank.

All games include propaganda in their content. Just block it out if/when it bothers you and move on. When you’re near the bank in LA, take your headphones off or mute your speakers.

Besides, if you’re going to use a single Leviticus quote to excuse your homophobia and say that the game is pandering to “politics”, you should probably also petition ANet to remove the following:

Bowl of Clam Chowder, Clam Cake, Plate of Frostgorge Clams (don’t eat shellfish)
Looting your enemies corpses, Necromancy in general (don’t touch the bodies of unclean animals)
The Elder Dragons (don’t touch lizards)
Fireflies, Sparkflies and mosquitoes (don’t touch flying insects with four legs)
All of the non-christian lore gods (don’t invent gods or idols)
Thief move “Steal” (don’t steal)
PVP (don’t endanger the life of your neighbor, don’t injure or kill others)
Armor repair (don’t tear your clothes)
Disguises and tonics (don’t lie)
That event in Queensdale where you have to pick up the trampled grapes (those are to be left for the poor)
The norn tattoos (don’t get tattoos)
Playing a caster class (turning to mediums or spiritualists)
Guild Halls (don’t sell land permanently)

So, since you haven’t mentioned any of that, can we just drop the ruse and stop pretending that this is about feeling threatened by the game’s lack of christianity and just admit that you’re being homophobic? Which, btw, is against the terms of service of this game if you want to get into the rules of the place you’re in right now.

The lizards are real actual creatures that live in our world and have lesbian sex in order to reproduce (the female/female sex is required for ovulation). This shows that lesbianism is not unnatural, as those lizards are doing what is natural for them (and are how “God made them” if you want to be religious) and that not all sex requires both male and female for reproduction.

The Sylvari are fantasy creatures and irrelevant to the discussion.

What is natural applies on case by case basics (to each species different things are natural), and not what exists in the whole world.

Unless you’re planning to become a lizard, or are some cyborg transhumanist, it doesn’t apply to you.

Besides having a terrible, internet meme based grasp of the above prohibitions, you’re making a huge assumption by coming in here to decry the OP’s “hate” by smearing one or two major religions.

You should expand your horizons a bit. I have Christian friends who are just fine with gay marriage and a gay friend who strongly opposes it.

We’re all individuals, not some arm of a collective hive mind and we’ll all have a much better time if we assume less, listen more and not hold one person responsible for the actions of someone else.
