in your opinion if Land Spears were ever added, would you want it to be a 1hander like GW1 (but for different uses based on class)

or would you want it to remain a 2hander weapon like the sea spear?

ive been advocating Spears as two handed land weapon for Rangers for a long time. It is a “survivalists” weapon, i also see it fit well with Guardians as it is also very good at defensive type of actions.

I hope they give it to rangers (with the same coefficients we got on underwater spear, ya hear that anet? good, do eet)

For those who dunno why i want my ranger have same coeffs on land as underwater – Go watch the damage rangers do underwater, then compare it to warrior GS on land…. with the exception of 100b you will see something that is out of this world in terms of sheer DPS comparison.

I had so much fun playing the Paragon in Nightfall, it would be great to bring something like that back to GW2. I stand by my idea for it being an elementalist throwing weapon so they can have another physical-type weapon, but it would also be very cool to see how other classes handle said weapon too!

Paragon was a great class that was underused in most content, but I loved the class. It was my first ( and only ) toon that got Legendary Survivor pre-update that let you restart the title track after you had died. Imbagon4ever

Spear underwater “1” for guards gives me kitten. I am against for throwing weapons that magically returns back to you from nowhere. For that reason i also dislike warrior bladetrail (boomerang srsly?)

Ermm… and firing arrows that you magically spawn without a quiver—or a supply of infinite arrows if you have a quiver back item—is so much better? That’s just one example that comes to mind.

It’s a game, dude. A fantasy one, at that. Moving on…
