Poor Rangers….Then again, a large majority of the class relies on passive mechanics (spirits, pets, signets, etc.) and doing boring things like laying down traps that do nothing until triggered.

Sword/Axe + Greatsword eez the most fun weapon set ever.

I expected engies to be first but then again im biased The elixirs mustve brought us down a bit :S

The classes that can do more skills should always win out but that dose not make them the best classes in the game lol.

Oh look, Ranger the only class in double digits, and far behind the next lowest. It’s almost like it was a broken class with a broken mechanic or something, having to rely on a buggy pos weapon for decent damage output.

I voted Engie because it is the most fun overall but Thief needs an honorable mention for how easy it is to screw with people in WvW.

I think all of them are fun so I had a hard time to choose, but ele won out in the end. Dual daggers is just crazy fun!
Still, I’m surprised that warriors is placed so low considering how many I see ingame.

I expected ele to be on top, and I’m glad that’s the case. Ele for life <3

Yeah, I expected to see Ele at or near the top, because they are the greatest, but I also expected to see Guard/Warr up there too, due to how many of them there are. I wonder if people are actually aware that their class is really boring but they play it because it’s easymode/good farmer.

I’m scratching my head about the results too. I can’t remember the position of engineers but I do recall elementalist and mesmers being the least class played so why are they amongst the most fun? I can’t go by my own opinions because I like playing guardians almost as much as I like playing mesmers.

You wouldnt know if u havent tried one..trust me. My warrior is quite systematic yes and I’ll use it if I want a bit more tankiness or I’m unsure about my pt.. but for pure dps and awesome conjuring fun, I hop on my ele. U got so many skills to spam, so many nice spells with blazing effects..FGS, hammer lightning fields so on.. aint nothin that can beat that

I was actually gonna vote for ele except i got sent to the results page and saw that my warrior compadres needed help

Based on that logic, eles shouldnt even be there, yet, not only are they not last, but they are first.

And trust me, nothing screams “losing” louder than having an ele in your PvP team.

It is all about how much fun the class has and personally Im not surprised that the classes with the most buttons to press are the ones on the top. Personally I think that Anet dropped the ball a little bit when they decided to give us only 9 skills on the bar and 5 of them tied to weapon…

I’ve played every class to 80 except Rangers (because I refuse to be tied to an AI that isn’t intelligent) and I don’t find elementalists to be fun. Sure, the potential is there but the designers obviously want me to be the Aang when I prefer to be Zuko. For all their say about playing the way we want to play, they still refuse to let us specialize in one or two elements. As to why I main a mesmer, I like messing with people, especially allies.

“Class” well there we go again, using that word.

ele is very fun to play, it’s just a shame that it’s not op like other classes.
