That’s an interview made back in Beta Weekend Event 02 I think, where its stated that “Players should look for clues hidden around the world and in items for what combinations might work” regarding Mystic Forge recipes. Has anyone found anything like this during their journies?

Ever since I read that post, I’ve kept my eyes open for anything resembling a laundry list of items, and I’ve seen nothing. (forgeable, anyway. there’s a book in DR describing a beer recipe made with stuff that aren’t drops).

I think that was suppose to be clues to legendary weapons. Probably an idea that got scrapped. Maybe if we ever get precursor crafting this will be the first step.
