Just some extra info for newer players or older ones who might not know this:

If you type: I am Evon Gnashblade

into the search bar on the trading post, item icons will shrink to the size of the text, so you can see about three times more items in the window and have to scroll less.

I had enough to reach 500 so I went ahead and cashed out. Looks like I can blame the horrible sample size I originally used which is a relief. I’m making slightly over 98 silver per laurel based on a sample size of 500. This is based on the profit projections off the TP using sell prices.

this is a very good topic as it has helped me a lot to get upgrades for my toon,s .as well and almost max out crafting. and get a few small goodies as well too.

Sadly this post got buried in the claptrap of all the other posts in the general forum…

Not enough people will post in it to keep it on the front page either because they are unwilling to have the general public aware of these great ideas because it creates instability in the markets or they get driven away from it because of arguments that are basically semantic in nature.

I think this guide is invaluable to new players who may have trouble getting the gold needed to buy the materials and gear needed to play whatever meta evolves from HOT as well as old players who never really amassed much gold(hello all you people that pay for WvW upgrades, relief is coming soon for that too!!!! )

My question for mystic is, Will there be an updated version of this for after the expansion if anything changes?

Like everything on the TP, it’s about finding the niche to occupy then finding the next one when the word gets out and the previous niche collapses.

You are required to follow the game’s news and rumors. Reports about the Raids being balanced for ascended gear meant there has been an upswing in the price of raw materials needed for crafting ascended gear as well as what’s needed to get crafting up to 500 for whatever armor and weapons players are equipping if they aren’t equipping ascended yet.

I wonder if silk will get flooded again in December like last year.
