So, I have read the pros and cons but i need some additional info

which one of these is best for someone who has vision impairments for solo and doesn’t need to click as many buttons? I am pretty sure i will not pvp at all (i suck at it) also, what build?

i should also say that i like to stay back and out of the chaos. (bows, casting, etc)

currently i am testing out Necro but if you think ranger is a better fit then let me know.

Necro is absolutely awesome fun to play, I have both so you could level both and see what you like when higher level

Why not try them both, but I’m sure you’re better off with a Ranger when I’m picturing Mr. Magoo here.

Ranger pros vs Necro:
- TAB targeting instead of manually placing AOE on the ground.
- 1500 range for above and piercing arrows.
- A lazy person only need TAB, the #1, shared heal and change pet button for if pet is about to die.
- Ranger got buffed latest patch and I love running around killing stuff with it. If geared for full damage/zerker, a Ranger is in a pretty good place now based on my own observation of having every class at 80 with DPS gear.
- It’s fun to hunt all the pets to the roster while exploring if the game is new to you.
- Much less bugs unlike what the Necro has been dragging along for years.
- Every equivalent to other MMOs gold farmers use a MM Necro here since they’re even more dumbed down to play, but not as fun for an actual player. Also the Necro pets have bugs, bugs and more bugs.
Ranger cons over Necro.
- Less chance of getting light armor when farming.

Ranger is definitely the way to go for a “fire and forget” type of profession. Necro does tend to require more movement and more play.

Sometimes I have to go afk at a moment’s notice. Often, I end up getting loot when I come back a coupe of minutes later, because my pet has killed everything that spawned while I was standing there.

Also the 3 downed skill of the ranger means even when I’m down, I’m often not out, even during combat.
