I appreciate that new updates like the shared inventory slots and new silver-fed-salage-o-matics are here. However, You really need to offer people a way to recycle items that are now surplus due to your decision to code in these new “conveniences” that conveniently render past purchases not only unnecessary but completely redundant. (Not a good business model when it comes to brand loyalty)

Your loyal customers who have bought things that are now redundant and/or completely negated are feeling a bit ripped off. One might make an argument about early adopters and all that BS but screw that. There are items people have paid for with real money that are now simply redundant and useless. Literally useless. I horde them because I hope-ses.

I am willing to bet that most people who HAVE bought more than one copper-fed salvage-o-matic or more than one type of a gathering item are not only feeling silly at having done so, but are outright feeling ripped off and further embarrassed about talking about it since the introduction of the shared inventory items.

Harvesting and Salvaging items are the two things that are most affected by this. Now they have decided to introduce the silver-fed salvage-crapper and share inventory shats.

Reasons:
-oh money of course…and i get it…I guess I just expected they’d respect their customers a bit more. I’m so silly. Next time I won’t spend my monies.

tl;dr
I want the ability to trade in my now-obsolete/surplus SHOP items into some kind of *viable currency, lest I decide that spending my real money is terrible idea.

The Silver-Fed Salvage-o-Matic isn’t new. It was first introduced in August 2014.

Secondly there were a lot of topics about this when the shared inventory slots first came out. If you want to get duplicate items refunded you’ll need to contact Support – no one on this forum can do it.

You may not get a refund, it depends on a lot of different factors (although wording it as a polite request instead of a rant about how ripped off you feel will help) but unless you ask you definitely won’t get one.

It is sad that wording should make a difference. Doing the right things should happen regardless. It is petty and selfish to deny or ignore someone because they hurt their feelings.
