I would personally quite like it if new hairstyles/faces were available to fresh characters, or you could buy some kind of ‘unlock upgrade’ so that you could do it.

Probably one of the better ideas I’ve seen here.

This is not to bad of an idea. If you pay for it, either with cash or time&gold, then fine. Giving the options for free – not as great.

Probably should have a high gem price though simply for the fact that they will add more faces and hairstyles to the list over time. Or give it a low price and force people to rebuy the upgrade like the Digital Deluxe Upgrade.

Nah just have it like.

Hair Set 1:
Contains the first set of DLC hairstyles for the character creation screen. 3 hairstyles per race/gender.
400 gems

And then have like.
Hair Set 2
Hair Set 3
Face Set 1
Face Set 2

And then as more come out, add Hair Set 4+ and Face Set 3+.

That could work too. It would work similar to how their doing the whole episode content stuff now as well.

One way they can do it within the current system is to make makeover kits soulbound (on use) and last 24 hours. This will ensure the user gets their money’s worth by having a limited time frame of adjusting their character’s look. As has been said before, the lighting and small window in character creator doesn’t do avatars any favors.

That would actually be a really nice change, and wouldn’t really have much, if any, effect on their profit. I’d get behind this. I’ve seen it in some other MMOs, and it’s helpful, since characters can look different in-game than in character creation/remodel there, too.

New face ,anatomy, gender, hairstyle are fine. The only problem is that you can see any of these until after you have purchased a kit. A way to view the new selections first would be good. Hair colour should just be a merchant that accepts gold or karma. People dye their looks all the time, so being able to change hair colour quickly and easily would be good.
