I really dislike the new Lions Arch….It was supposed to be a town founded by pirates…nothing bout LA is very ‘Piratey’ anymore. I MISS MY LION FOUNTAIN!

Also, the WP placement is horrid in this city. I used to hang out all the time in LA, but now I just can’t stand going there.

Technically Lion’s Arch was not founded by pirates.

after its original destruction it was.

I don’t like the distance between the black lion agent and the bank and aswell from the crafting station and the mystic forge. The repair versio was much more convient.

While I do like the new LA having more surface and less brigdges/ narrow place to walk above the water but I missed the whole “ships stuch together” theme it had.

Or they could just make, you know, stairs to raised balconies and buildings like in the old LA.

Totally agree. I just started playing again after having not played this for over a year now only to find out the lions arch got totally changed.

It looks so lame compared to how it used to look. Definitely do NOT like at all.

We had choices in terms of a popular vote to dictate what direction the players wanted LA to go in during the destroyed phase.

We got to vote on POI names and such also.

If I recall correctly one of the choices made it look somewhat similar to the Elona district in DR, the one we have now, and some other one.

The players picked the one we have now. I don’t dislike it. I agree with that charr that the old LA had character and grit, but the new one doesn’t bother me.

I don’t think we had any choices regarding Lion’s Arch, other than naming some of the areas. At least, I don’t remember anything about Elona, or it’s present architecture, or anything else.
