I was coming for a good idea to increase the completeness of GW2 , as events around the maps over time can become boring , both for newcomers and for those who now is lvl 80 and does not make them even more, could add a merchant with whom to exchange gold medals in the events that we take , so we all have a reason even those who are already 80 to hunt events , and even the merchant could sell for a few medals potions for the experience or find the magic for newcomers , and weapons or armor gold for example those who make events every day and take medals in bursts , if this merchant then had something that is useful from day one would be closed in the house of GW2 , you should do something similar , then you see if maybe this idea we liked , so lvl 80 there is nothing else to do .

The new repeatable content in the original maps coming with HoT sounds a lot like this except I don’t think they’re going to award tradeable currency for exchange. But the idea of giving people something to do in places they’ve already been is there.

Sounds to me like you just want to rename “karma” to “gold medals” or basically just turn the Gold Medals into a new currency? We really don’t need a new currency. All they need to do is add more value to karma….and the karma vendors.
