ORR Events are unsoloable
This wouldn’t be a problem if there were more lvl 80 areas in the world to explore.
Try joining a guild that runs Orr events. This week will be light on Orr participation because of the Southsun patch.

You’re missing the point.
There’s one event in Malchor’s Leap, for example, where you are tasked with protecting three Pact engineers as they set up a camp. It is absolutely impossible to solo due to the enormous number of Risen that spawn together with Rotmouths and trebuchets to knock you back and stun you. This also happens to be the site of a WP (Colonnade Waypoint?), which results in it being a permanently contested unless a group comes through.
There’s a similar event near the entrance to Cursed Shore, still in Malchor’s Leap, where you have to protect the three Pact trebuchets from Risen and you are bombarded by six Risen trebuchets. This one is soloable, but it can take an hour or more to complete. Again, there’s a WP here, but unless you’re farming the area, most people simply don’t care about it being contested since the entrance to Cursed Shore is right there.
While both events have a similar premise, and number of enemies to deal with, the former is in a very, very, restricted space which ups the difficulty substantially. They are just two examples of many events in Orr that are not named “Group Events” but require a group to complete, at least in a reasonable time.
I think there needs to be a change in what events are called. Instead of “Events” and “Group Events”, there should be Events that can be soloed, Small Group Events that require a party-sized group to complete and Large Group Events which require a Squad-sized group.

So the point is, your complaining that one person can’t go through the entirety of tyria and complete every event by themselves. What does MMO stand for? What is the name of this game? Avoid 3itching about events by playing with others as the game obviously intends, or get better gear and a different build. That area is supposed to be contested all the time. Are all the areas like that? No. Let the game have some originality and go 3itch about things that matter, like skill lag and pvp being a s4it zergfest like wvw.

I do understand, though. The thing is your blight stems from a chain of events. It all starts with the buff to Orr’s inhabitants.
The reason for the Orr buff is because people farm the place. The buff made farming there almost counter-productive and thus discourages people from going there.
If there were more places like Orr (with different themes and without the buffs), then 80s wouldn’t be corralled to those areas, everyone wouldn’t be farming them and Anet wouldn’t have to buff them to stop the farming. No farming nerfs means more of a reason to be there, meaning people will be there to possibly help you.
The same events, specifically the so-called “tunnel events”, have been relentlessly farmed since day 1. These other events couldn’t be soloed before and they can’t be soloed now. It has nothing to do with any “buff”, especially since the mobs in Orr were in fact “nerfed” and the “buff” you’re talking about involves changing how events scale for larger number of participants.
And there is a massive difference between a WP being contested for a few minutes while an event is in progress and a WP being permanently closed because there are never enough people to clear it. Actually, that raises another issue – some of these events need to be on a slower timer so that the WPs are open for more than five minutes when they do eventually get cleared.

No, that’s not really it at all. As Sokar said, some of the events in Orr are just horribly mis-marked.
I came across an event in Cured Shore to help some engineers build a thing, thought, “hey, why not? I’ll just kill some dudes, complete the event and move on.” Like the rest of the game. It wasn’t marked as a group event or anything unusual, but it took me over an hour to solo. Wave after wave of Risen Pirates and those black floaty-ball things, respawning as fast as I could kill them. Oh, and 3 Risen Catas raining poison down constantly.
The poor engineers could only get 1-2% further on building their thing before being killed again, and it would be another 5 minutes of nonstop fighting before I could rez them for another 1-2% progress. That’s as an 80 Guardian in full exotics. With my Thief or Mesmer I would’ve either given up or died.
The events like this don’t need to be made easier so that they’re soloable, but they should at least be marked properly as Group Events.

I’ve been in Orr ALL DAY LONG and mostly soloing events.
Not hard at all.
Course, I’ve got balanced gear – for both offense and defense.
But I say mostly, because there’ve been 2 or 3 zergs in here as well, and I can’t help but end up in the middle of an event they show up to every now and then. LOTs of people around, map chat is busy, but I’ve been just hanging off to the left of the crowds.

I been to all the zone, and done every event outside of orr, even those that require fail, and I can tell you this, I play a guardian in full mf gear and I can solo 95% of all events outside of Orr.
How do one get better gear when ur in full exotic with ascend accessory, and what part of no one in sight for miles dun u understand.

It seem you don’t understand that, mobs tend to go for the npc you are trying to protect, while completely ignoring you, leading to a fail.
