This is great.

The other day I was in WvW and I Was on my human thief, me and this bigkitten norn guardian were running from this huge zerg, they had killed everyone else and it was just us two. We made it to the front of our keep, but instead of going inside the guardian stopped at the edge of the tunnel while the Zerg came close. The bigkitten norn suddenly said “This is where I die!” He immediately started sprinting towards the zerg, now I’m not normally a role player type but this got me FIRED up I used steal to put myself right in the middle of the Zerg inside of the tunnel, while me and him went BALLISTIC he tossed up domes and Aoes, I popped haste and we just went nuts, I honestly think after they saw him say that and we both teleported into the center of them they were confused for a second, because we lasted a lot longer than we should of and we took some down with us.

This was so AMAZING hands down one of the best times I have ever had playing a video game.

I love role players and wish I was better at it. Being around them makes my time in game much more enjoyable. Thank you.

I love playing on Tarnished Coast for this reason. I see role play like this all around. I have had many a role play event that started from simple commentary. I have been in a few of the DEs mentioned above and it was wonderful how the “zerg” quickly become a group of people really caring about Tyria. The “healers” or “rezzers” are my favorite; some really unique ways to address death or near-death.

It’s fun but can be hurtful too. People asking after I accept a group invite, “Do you smell something?” does get rather tiresome…

“Charr need no bath!”

;)

I was RP-exploring with a few RL friends last night on TC, and another player that none of us knew just RP’d right into our group and ended up hanging around with our characters for around an hour. I love how TC might be an unofficial server, but so many people take it so seriously, and act on it in the game all the time.

My character, a sylvari, has a fascination with Charr tails.
