how do 1 handed vs 2 handed weapons work.

My understanding is this.
1. Assuming the weapons are equally leveled usually a 2 handed weapon has a higher strength range.
2. I believe the Damage in the range applies to the different skills you use meaning main hand 1-3 and off-hand kitten

my question is given your main attack is skill 1 it would appear that a 2 handed weapon is always better for this as the off-hand doesn’t effect this other then the +power etc… but only the main weapon applies to the 1 skill for the strength range

Why would I select I 1 handed vs 2 handed in this game?

I try not to use greatswords and hammers because i see far too many of them in use.
Going with one-handed weapons makes me feel less common.
