Poor ANet. Kittened if they do, kittened if they don’t. Put armor in the gem store, people complain that the armor should be gained by playing the game. Change things to introduce more armor that gets earned in game and sell outfits, people complain about not getting them as purchased armor. If ANet had to change due to every complaint made in these forums, they wouldn’t be able to put anything in the gem store.

Outfits serve a purpose. Some people apparently like and buy them , else ANet wouldn’t keep adding more. They also enable someone to have a decent look while leveling without having to burn transmutation crystals every time they don new armor.

Thats not the issue. Its that we get since a year almost ONLY outfits and the “anti outfit” crowd gets impatient cause they also want their shiny, new nice things. Imagine you and your brother or sister go shopping with mom and only she/he gets what he/she wants while you dont get something. Sure he/she deserves as much as you to have nice things but since a long time only he/she gets it… while you get nothing you want. Thats the issue and nothing else.

I can’t believe how well you summed that up. It’s like children complaining that someone else got something they wanted and you didn’t. Totally perfect.
