There’s several new hairstyles I actually like a lot, except for 1 problem, half of their head is shaved. . Ok maybe have a couple of them for the tween crowd that loves miley cyrus and justin beiber but if you could remake the half shaved head hairstyles with the full hair that would be awesome. I surely can’t be the only one who feels this way.

edit: sorry about any confusion, apparently the one I really liked was norn. Though the 2 female human ones not a fan of either obviously.

Not really. Problem is some of the shaved hairstyles are actually really good…except for the half shaved part.

I get one or 2 but why so many. Its not nearly as popular or trendy as they think it is.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s so disappointing to see a really pretty hairstyle come out only to find that half of it is missing. I’m starting to think this is more a cost saving measure so Anet doesn’t need to make the other side of the hair.

maybe it was previous hairstyles patches. But there’s more than one.

I checked it out myself as well with a hairstyle kit and Female Humans have two hairstyles with a shaven part in it.

One is a basic hairstyle and the second one, the most ‘recent’ one, is from April 2015 (http://dulfy.net/2015/04/14/gw2-new-hairstyles-from-total-makeover-kits-for-april-14/)

OP asked for “only 1 or 2 maybe” and there are only two. So I don’t understand what he’s complaining about.

Or he can’t see the difference between a female Norn and female Human.

Maybe OP is upset that many people use the hairstyles. Perhaps what he meant by “only 1 or 2” is that he only wants to see 1 or 2 people with the style, anymore and he’s living a “tween nightmare.”
We have to be considerate folks, change your hairstyles to resemble Cousin Itt, lest we face the consequence of driving OP away from the game.

Just in case no one figured it out, I like those hairstyles.

I’d like a few more options for female Norns with just plain bangs instead of the hair being bulled back or completely covering their eyes, but I figure it’ll come at some point. Until then variety serves us all even if it doesn’t serve every one of us individually.

I suppose Arenanet has more data than any of us on what hairstyles players use.
I count 2 (confirmation required?) shaved hairstyles, you’ll survive.

I want a full shaved style for my exotic dark godess Revenant. Half shaved really don’t work.
Also I would love to make some Asajj Ventress, Ripley and Furiosa homages.

Sorry that’s totally my bad. was looking at both humans and norn earlier and got confused. Apparently the one I really liked was norn. Lol oops. Of course female norn and humans do look alot alike face wise.

Specifically would LOVE this one redone with a full head of hair. They could even keep the shaved version too so everyone wins.

A couple of points: How do you propose to reimburst those that paid for hair kits specifically because they wanted that look?

Making disparing remarks towards those that disagree with you isn’t an effective way to garner support.

In regards to your ‘statistics’, your campus of 20k people; personal observation by a single person isn’t generally accepted as proof in statistics, particularly since you voiced a strong bias.

I personally see no problem with adding ‘complete’ versions of the hairstyles, but calling for their complete removal based on nothing more than personal taste is absurd and reeks of arrogance.

The side-shaved stuff is great! I love Anet for going to that area of style and I wish they’d add another side-shave with a shorter style instead of long (human females).

Suggest something else. use your photographer/graphic artist/ ability to simultaneously see the hair on millions of different people in thousands of different cultures/clairvoyance/Calvin Klein elite skillz and maybe show them a thing or two. maybe they’ll hire you as all mighty legendary chief hairperson.

The shaved ones are better because if you only have half a head of hair, you gotta make it count.

Whenever I see that I think of the ’fro during the time when disco was the kitten.

There are a lot of very bizarre hairstyles across the board, yeah. I’m not a fan of the shaved ones, either. Or the mohawk look or the Afro look. Most of the charr styles, I find really “out there” but the braided one they just added, I really love.
