Which is more important to you, the players? And why?
1) Living Story:
Consistent and Continuous Updates with Permanent and Temporary Map Additions
2) New Features:
Guild Halls, Player Housing, Capes, New Legendaries, Crafting Precursors, New Weapon and Armor skins, New Weapon Types and Utility Skills
3) New PvP Content:
New Maps for sPvP and WvW, GvG content
4) Less Content Updates:
Focus on Profession Balance in PvP and PvE, and General Bug Fixes
You can’t say all of the above ‘cause you’re flippin’ crazy :P

I would say 1 personally. For what is an RPG (MMO or otherwise) without a story. I’ve liked what we’ve got so far, season 1, and season 2 is starting to look awesome! Keep it up, I like having little chunks of updates as the story progesses rather than getting everything in a big chunk.
Living Story, without ‘10 levels/gear’ expansions, first. I’d like new features, because I love housing. Don’t care about pvp, especially not one based on zerging, & I’ve seen much worse in balance (I tried eso…) But I’d add – more diversity in builds/gear, because I’m sick of ‘dps/speed run/zerker only’ – very, very sick of that. I’d put that at #1 right now, actually.
I think all of them needed and less of that kind of updates what came out last time…New map more living content and in rest grafical and description polishes…This worths all the wait…Hurray.
For me it would be like this:
1. Living Story: Consistent and Continuous Updates with Permanent Map Additions
2. New Features: Guild Halls, GvG content, Capes, New Legendaries, Crafting Precursors, New Weapon and Armor skins
3. Less Content Updates: Focus on Profession Balance in PvP and PvE, and General Bug Fixes
4. New PvP Content: New Maps for sPvP and WvW
Living Story, new maps are always exciting.
#2. hands down. the rate of map addition is too slow. Story & Characters? no.
I prefer the living story allowing for the game to evolve as we play it and course adding new features along the way.
Not a huge fan of the “housing” concept in a video game.
4) Profession balance. Having a commonly used profession skill destroyed during an update sours the whole experience regardless of what they add to the game.
I would choose number 1.
With feature patches coming along every so often.
Oh! Great! That’s what they have planned! Works out well for me. =)
+1 for 1.
Living Story could quite easily become a ‘slow release’ springboard for #’s 2 & 3.
Yes I can say all of the above. And here’s why:
DIFFERENT TEAMS
Agile. Development.
It’s the same reason the company I contract for can have one massive application with 150 sub applications, each maintained, updated, and enhanced by its own team of 4-6 people.
1, with the occasional 2.
After the last feature pack with traits an all and the season 1 of LS. I vote Elona expansion.
Maybe we should all use google translate to post in Chinese, maybe then they’ll matter?

1- New features
2- Living story with “permanent” content/map additions
Since their storytelling is beyond disappointing, I’m all for 2.) New Features… for as long as they don’t hire competent writers.
(edited by Thalador.4218)
I would say 1, but it’s weird they don’t add a couple of small features each update. I don’t see why they want to keep the LS and feature updates so separated. The sooner, and thus, longer, features are in the game, the better. No need to only bring them out after a lot of them are finished -.-
Preferably I would like to see a mix of living story and content updates, possibly alternate updates, one of which adds story content, the next adds new features or systems.
1) New Features
2) New PvP Content
3) Less Content Updates
…)
?) Living Story
- New PvP Content for me.This game lacks of good PVP.
- Living Story – i like 2 weeks updates
- New features – duels,guild halls etc…
- Less Content Updates – not much interested

Different strokes for different folks I guess. I’d prefer a story, an overall engaging experience. Someone else would want more legendary so he can collect them in order to get a sense of achievement. Someone else might want their class of choice to be more balanced. I can imagine what the dedicated WvWers would want.
Although new features (going off OPs examples) are somewhat not going to work out very well without other supporting game types (new events or dungeons for new skins etc.).

1) Less Content Updates – I long for the day when necros can finally become useful in dungeons and fractals but I’m afraid it will never happen.
2) New features – Guild halls, housing, marriage etc add more to immersion and roleplaying than the Living story ever would.
3) New PvP content – WvW at the moment doesn’t feel very interesting. It needs to be made more epic and motivate PvE players like me want to do it more.
4) Living Story – I never found the Living story or its characters to be interesting and I dislike the fact that they’ve replaced Destiny’s Edge. I would like to see more stuff relating to the human gods and the Mursaat. I still think Anet should do paid expansions because I’m afraid the Living story free content just isn’t on par with the vanilla stuff imo.
4>2>3>1, in my honest opinion.
> 1) Living Story:
> Consistent and Continuous Updates with Permanent and Temporary Map Additions
consistent updates yes
continuous updates yes
permanent map additions yes
no to temporary map additions
> 3) New PvP Content:
> New Maps for sPvP and WvW, GvG content
yes please.
> 4) Less Content Updates:
> Focus on Profession Balance in PvP and PvE, and General Bug Fixes
yes to sPVP balance and bug fixes.
PvE does not require profession balance since it is PvE.
> 2) New Features:
> Guild Halls, Player Housing, Capes, New Legendaries, Crafting Precursors,
> New Weapon and Armor skins, New Weapon Types and Utility Skills
not really too desirous of these.
more bonus if they do implement these.
2>1>3>4 for me!
I REALLY want those new weapon types :P

yes to sPVP balance and bug fixes.
PvE does not require profession balance since it is PvE.
Profession Balance in PvE would refer to class balance in dungeons, such that you would not see as many “Warrior Zerks 80s Only” messages in LFG.

No I’m gonna say all, because it’s something we should expect from Anet, but it’s not what we’re getting.
Professional balance is few and far between
New things being added to Pvp, WvW, or GvG content is….. Few and far between
New feature like new weapon types, capes, housing, utility skills IS…………. Few and far between
And decent permanent content (not counting the new idiotic jumping puzzle galore desert map) and interesting living story content IS………………………………….. Few and far between
I’m asking for all because we haven’t gotten ANY of those and we have been asking for some of this kind of stuff since the beginning
Mix of two and four. The game needs more polish and balance as is, but the features are lacking.
