Explanation: I got an entire tab and half tab full of reward boxes. As someone who plays pvp much I get tons of boxes all the time and my bank almost full now. It’s annoying I’m done using them so I save them for my other toons who are not yet lvl 80.

Making them stack is a simple solution that would save many pvpers banks.
(Sorry for my English.)

Convert them to greatswords and throw them in the Mystic Forge to try and get a precursor. It will be an exercise in disappointment, but at least you won’t have a problem with bank space.

Not all the items are of use. Put the ones you want on your low level characters now for future use. Maybe that will free up some space.

On one hand I’m asking myself, why aren’t you opening them? On the other hand, yes I wish everything stacked on itself. Stacking would be a great QoL improvement.

If the only useful thing you’ll get from them is skins couldn’t you open them, add the skins to the wardrobe and then use or delete the skin items?

That would free up some space and the only difference is you’d have to use transmutation charges to apply the skins once your characters reach level 80, but if you PvP that much you’ll get plenty of charges anyway.

I am not opening them and not adding them to my other toons inventory because their inventories also nearly full. I’m not really into the skins, I want the armors and weapons stats for my toons later when they’re level 80. (They will be geared from all the stuffs I have in bank )

• For example for my low level ranger: I need the 6 pieces of the glorious armor, and like 6 weapons boxes of arah (for longbow, shortbow, greatsword, warhorn, sword and axe) total is 12. 12 slots is too much if it’s possible for them to take only 2 slots.

And since I’m not sure how many boxes I would need later for my toons, I’m not opening them to throw them in Mytic forge.

Step two – sell or use the things in your bank that have negligable value, like silly blueprints that sell for little more then 1 silver piece.

Just buy another bank tab then.

Too many rewards boxes? This is the opposite of a problem.

those are all Weapon and Armor boxes that he wants to use on future lvl 80 chars
if he opens them they take exactly the same amount of slots

stop giving useless advices and just admit that it would be MUCH better if it was possible to stack those boxes

I try not to keep junks in my bankittenep some stuffs for future use, and as I said I save armor and weapon boxes for my low level toons for when they reach level 80. But everytime these boxes increase in number and it’s killing my bank. Stacking would solve the misery.

So keep those 12 on that char, ready to open when it hits 80?
You could even open them ready, so you know why they are there.

I see a lot of stuff in your bank that is not worth keeping such as the wintersday harvesting tools. I also would open the 28 login day reward box and take 20 laurels.

I would suggestion putting the term Suggestion in your title and change the title to clearly indicate you want them to become stackable. A large number of people who don’t know how to throw out junk come on every once and a while and your thread seemed at first glance to be one of them.

I do use the harvesting tools for farming and Anet can help reduce bank and inventory spaces by making rewards boxes stackable. You will know the struggle if you pvp much.

maybe OP has a few other items he doesnt necessarily need to keep in his Bank..

but that doesnt change the fact that its very annoying that those weapon & armor boxes dont stack and it would be really nice improvement if anet changed that.

There’s also a Zenith skin (pistol I think) in there. Those you definitely don’t need to keep because they’re only skins (they have no stats of their own), they’re unlocked in the wardrobe automatically when you get them and they’re free to apply from the wardrobe, the actual items are an artefact from before the wardrobe system was introduced.

(And just in case anyone is unclear this is not an ‘attack’. This is a suggestion to help the OP clear some bank space in the, highly likely, event that Anet does not act on their request or takes months to do so.)

I’m saving this zenith rifle skin for my engi. I did some calculation on how many transmution charges I would need for 4 toons when they hit 80 and it turned to be nearly around 40 trans charges, so I’m keeping such skins I know I’d need in my bank, would save some trans charges.

You seem to definitely have a hoarding problem, especially since you also said your alts have full inventories too.

I have all my alts geared out (that I actually use anyways)

The rest of the weapon boxes I just choose the salvagable insignia option, and salvage it, make an easy 2+ gold per and use the gold to re-buy anything I may need in the distant future.

You are given bank space, and you are choosing to consume that space with stuff that doesn’t need to be held onto. The boxes are so very easy to get, not some rarity that that would require you to hoard them like you are doing.

You can throw the tools away, open the achievement chest, open the login chest, sell the WvW blueprints, throw away the Arena Tokens, throw away the Zenith skin, or place on an alt (as a PvPer, you will have a TON of transmutation charges as well.)

You don’t have to save Zenith skins. You have an unlimited supply from your Achievements panel. No Zenith skins require transmutation charges.

You are supposed to open those mate! They are chests of loot. Booty. Treasure. you know… income? You don’t save your paychecks from going into the bank and being used, do you?

I feel like that guy from that one movie. He doesn’t know how to use the seashells…

As I said before I try not to keep junks in my bank, and even with deleting wvw blueprints and opening some achievment chests, some space would be given yes, but there would still be an entire tab for reward boxes and my suggestion of staking those would be a lot better and would free up more space both in my bank and inventories.
