I was completely stunned by how incredible the different boxes are (and their animation too).
I feel whoever made these unbelievably awesome things deserves an appreciation thread, he did an outstanding job.

Not sure if anyone else stopped to look at them, in which case I uploaded a little compilation below:

They look nice. Sadly it’s not possible to look at it during normal gameplay since we’re stuck looking at the ground for circles all the time, such a waste of artwork.

You have to stop what you’re doing and look up to see it, or anything else that is above the ground.

You rarely see it mentioned but Orr zones have nice boxes also, albeit somewhat more moody. Love the dragons in the mix. The art in this game is spectacular.

I must agree. Whoever is in charge of this portion of the game/artwork kudos to you, you did a fantastic job.

Too bad it’s impossible to see unless you /sleep or look up while swimming.

I always looked up and tried to find the dragon :p it is awesome to see all the art in the game

I stop in awe at the art in this game every time I play
The terrains are just mind boggling and the meteor showers in one of the Charr zones are spectacular.
I love exploring for exactly this.

The game certainly is one of the prettiest MMOs out there. I’m right there with all the other people hoping for a FOV slider so that we will get to see a little more of it during regular gameplay.

Indeed, I often have to force my camera upward when I’m exploring just so I can actually see the environment. I wish I didn’t have to constantly do this, because I feel like I’m kinda missing out on some really pretty scenery.

It’s really a disservice to the people who worked so hard to make these zones gorgeous that players don’t get to see that kind of stuff unless they stop what they’re doing and tilt the camera up into the sky.

There’s gotta be a way that we can see both the environment around us AND immediate gameplay area.

Agree. With the horrible FOV, you don’t see half of the beautiful graphics. That is unless you are running with your camera in the grass. Most beautiful game I’ve played in 20 years of gaming, yet it’s not easily seen. What a waste.

Wait until you get Sunrise and Twilight, where the skybox IS your weapon!

Yes kudos on a breathtakingly beautiful game. And we’ll done OP. it’s nice to open a thread in this particular forum and read praise …. There’s so much of the other …..

I’d also like to add that this is the first mmo where I’ve actually stopped to take screenshots of one beautiful shot or another … I’ve amassed quite the gallery with more than 200 screens saved so far. Have never done that on any other mmo.
