Still regular release of new content?
Every 2-3 months
1 PVE story episode every 2-3 months, often bundled with other content
4-5 PvP seasons a year
4 recurring festivals a year
In between, we get balance patches, fractal updates and occasionally a new raid wing.
They simply couldn’t sustain the 2 weeks content period and work on an expansion and other content like they did after launch.
Yes. There’s an article on this forum, however, that says it will be closer to the 3-month gap than 2 this time. They’re apparently having some issues getting it ready.

At the moment we’re part way through Season 3 of the Living Story – which is a series of releases which tell a story that bridges the gap between expansions. There’s been a lot of changes to the format over the years but in Season 3 each release has included a new map, new story quests and new achievements and items/skins.
If you log in during the release period for an episode (the time between it’s release and the next one) it’s free, if you miss it you have to pay 200 gems. Either way it’s a permanent unlock that will be accessible to all of your characters once they’re level 80.
On top of that we have festivals periodically. We’ve just had the Lunar New Year and the Super Adventure Box (which is classed as a festival) is up right now.
There’s also an expansion being developed but we haven’t been told anything except they’re working on it. We’re expecting an official announcement complete with information on the content (and if we’re really lucky a release date) Soon™.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Every 2-3 months excluding regular festival/holiday events.
