As I remember, Anet said at some point that they would unlock more Weapons to the existing classes. I posted this here since the “suggestions” topic seems to be in the archive now..
Now in this thread, I wanna see what weapons you wish for which classes and what the skills could look like. To develop said skills I suggest comparing to the preexisting weapon skills of the chosen class and to how the chosen weapon works with other classes.
Ill start with Hammer for Mesmer :P (I can dream, Harald)
1: Energy Crash (0.5s)
Bash your Foe
Damage: 280
Range: 500
Energy Smash
Bash your Foe Again
Damage: 320
Range: 500
Imagined Burden
Smash your Foe and enemies in a radius and applies torment to them.
Damage: 400
Range: 500
Radius: 250
2 Torment duration: 6s
2: Sudden Gravity (15s)
Launches a Hammer in an arch. When it lands, it damages cripples foes in a radius and creates a clone at its location.
Damage: 250
cripple: 4s
3: Phantasmal Brute (20s)
Create an illusion that attacks your foe and causes knockback.
Knockback
Damage: 450
4: Chaotic Protection (10s)
Block the next attack. Block by granting Protection and a random boon to yourself.
Block duration: 3s
Protection: 8s
Random boon: (compare chaos armor)
→ Power Snap
Launch a Projectile at your foe that dazes enemies in a line.
Damage: 500
Daze: 3s
5: Shared Burden (30s)
Damage and Immobilize all Enemies in a Radius at the target location and remove cripple, chilled and immobilized from allies
Radius:250
Damage: 400
Immobilize:4s
Removed Conditions: Cripple, Chilled, Immobilized
