[Suggestion] AoE circles in the Desert
I took a lot of damage due to not seeing them, maybe change circle color in purple or black.
Please Anet, more underground, more asuran cities!
[TP] Bring back Moto’s boom box!
Seconded, especially considering colour blind players. Bigger outlines and a colour change option would be very helpful.
Third. I’m tired of dying to visual noise – especially when it’s downright impossible to see.
I agree, they’re indeed too difficult to see.
Yeah, there seem to be a lot of attacks that are hard to see. I was fighting a Hydra using a Scourge, and attacks just came flying from all directions with no warning I could see.

There is a way to see it coming, enemies in GW2 play attack animation. The idea for GW2 at launch was to make it so players were looking at the enemies they are fighting rather than their cooldowns, buffs and telegraphs. The main problem isn’t that the AoE circles are hard to see, the problem is all the visual clutter around enemies that makes it hard to read their animations, and the lack of UI customisibility. If we could put important buffs/cooldowns closer to the middle of the screen we wouldn’t have to look at our skillbar all the time.
I don’t think animations could ever cut it in GW2 for tells. There are a few fights where I actually can rock the fight using animations alone, but these are only featuring very large enemies and not in open world scenarios. It’s never going to be feasible in general situations.
