Guild Wars 2

Hello everybody,

Considering that Guild Wars 2 Heart of Thorns will be an important update or expension or whatever, I would like to propose some ideas for guilds.

When I came to Gw2, I expected some good guild options but we have to admit that guild options are quite poor. Here is a list of what I would like to have for a better guild organization:

Suggestions list :

1 -> The first point concerns guild announce : I would like that this announce can be seen by a player when he logs in or change character. At the moment, this announce is almost invisible and i guess that is not the role of such a functionnality.

2 -> Guild message : I would like to send a message to every player that I would checked before in order to prevent them about something, appointment or whatever. So it concerns every player in guild roster even those who are disconnected.

3 -> Guild message 2 : I would like that players could leave a message in guild interface like a mini-forum in order to be seen later by disconnected players for example.

4 -> Guild calendar : I would like to have a guild calendar where every authorized player could add a guild event : dungeon, worldboss, WvW, etc… A summary of this calendar could be seen in a pop-up message when a player logs in for example.

5 -> Guild alliance : I would like to have a guild alliance registry with the possibility to talk in a kind of an alliance chat.

6 -> Guild Bank : at the moment, options for guild bank are too limited. We can either withdraw everything or not having access at all. I would like to have the opportunity to configure in details what players can do with guild bank : how much they can take, how many items they are allowed to take according to a certain period of time (1 day, one week, or something else).

7 -> Guild roster : I would like to have a better organization for guild roster. Since the first day of beta I find that guild roster is messy. I find that the role of everybody isn’t evident. I think a better interface would be better.

Well I think i don’t have others ideas. To resume, I would like to improve guild interface with some options that would allow people to have a better organization for their guild.

Don’t hesitate to complete my ideas with yours.

I totally agree with you one many of these ideas. I have wanted a guild calendar since day one. Alliances would be great, some guilds already have Alliances, but a panel to make it official would be awesome.

I can’t believe that guild functionnalities don’t interest other people so, Bump !!

Their was a CDI done on guilds. Had some of the things OP was talking about i’d suggest checking out the CDI sub forum.
