Dear game-designers,
My suggestion is a home instance in guild hall. I think it could be a really nice feature to have an entrance to your home instance from your guild hall. And that home instance’s theme could be the same as the guild hall’s theme. There are 2 reasons I can tell now immediately:
1; First of all I do like my guild’s guild hall. I really enjoy how it evolves, gets better and better from time to time. How we all build our “new home”, like a city, and where we spend our time quite much. We gather there before guild missions/or any guild-like activity. I like to belong to it … to “our city”.
But I really miss a home instance from it. I really miss a “home-place”, like a flat in this city, in our guild hall.
Actually since you brought guild hall into the game, I think, many of us looks at it as “The New Home”. We can travel there from anywhere by one clicking. And since it’s rather our home, instead of Rata Sum, or Divinity’s Reach, etc…there could be the home instance in it. It would fit perfectly to this home-theme what this guild hall tries to represent. (It doesn’t represent a defendable thing yet
, like it did in guild wars 1)
2; Second reason could be the scribing which is about decorating. I would really like to decorate the home instance. All people could decorate it as they want it to look like. This decoratable home-instance could give a really good option for people who like to have a home. Maybe it would be more interesting than decorating the guild hall itself, but this feature should remain either. And people could bring other people into their home instances like guests in a party, as it works now in capitals of races.
Is there a chance to have a feature like this in the future?
