I think all low level crafted armor/weapon items should be at the very least Rare quality, maybe even exotic quality so that people will actually want to wear the things that are made rather than just salvaging fodder.

If you craft as you level, then often the greens and blues are improvements to the other armors/weapons you would have at that level from just playing the game. I have done this with several characters and used the gear that I crafted.

I seem to get just as good items from drops as I do from crafting. Close at worst. I’d like to be able to deck out my lowbie in all rares/exotics as he levels. Crafting should be good for something at low levels.

Need to get some use out of crafting besides leveling and a means to get to max.

Crafting just seems to be an afterthought. They put it in with no real purpose other than to say the game has crafting. Using the gear to fight with isn’t much improvement over drops. There is little to no money to be made from crafting unless you pay very close attention to the market. Many mats are overflowing on the trade post because there isn’t much reason to have crafting.

Many of the low level crafted items can be sold for decent amounts as can the crafted components for those items. The low level crafting materials often flood the market because they tend to be in greater abundance than the higher level materials.
